MAHSA EDUCATION GROUP (MEG) is a Private Higher Education Institution registered with the Ministry of Higher Education. MAHSA Education Group consists of:

The group has been in operations since 2008 and is currently seeking to recruit qualified, dynamic and self-driven individuals to fill the various vacancies located within the Group situated in East Malaysia and West Malaysia.

Network Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operation of the network and system to ensure proper utilization of lines, hardware and software.
  • Network traffic monitoring, line setup and troubleshooting.
  • Network supporting – implementation of processes, coordinate, suppliers, contractors and operation design (routing, switching, TCP/IP)
  • Follow up and prepare of incident reports.
  • Prepare and maintain technical specification, documents and drawing.
  • System administrator on active directory and internal security system such as firewall, proxy etc.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Diploma/Degree preferably in Computer Science/Information technology or
    related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Familiar with server and networking equipments.
  • Network certification of CCNA, MCSE, MCSA etc is an advantage.
  • Able to travel when required.

IT Support

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and administrating Windows-based, Linux-based server and desktop
  • To manage IT daily operations matters
  • To maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot PCs, Server and other networking equipment
  • To ensure computer systems are always protection with updated antivirus.
  • To maintain fixed asset register for all the hardware and software license, safekeeping of application software.
  • Any other responsibilities that may arise from the instruction from Management.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Diploma/Degree preferably in Computer Science/Information technology or
    related discipline.
  • At least 3 years working experience in corporate/educational industry system maintenance and implementation.
    Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Self- motivated, pro-active and result oriented.

Head of Department (HOD) – Environmental Health

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and University strategic plans and direction
  • Be an active member of the Faculty Executive Board and contribute to the overall leadership and management of the Faculty: it is expected that Heads of Department will carry functional responsibility for specific agreed
    cross-cutting Faculty areas
  • Develop and sustain appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making and communication with
    staff and students
  • Promote and represent the University both internally and externally
  • Refresh and develop new programmes in order to attract new students and markets
  • Ensure the best possible student experience through:
  • The fulfilment of the University´s responsibilities concerning students in respect of their admission, instruction, progress and examination;
  • The availability of pastoral assistance, and
  • adherence to the regulations and procedures of Faculties and of the Senate.

Requirement:-

  • Possess Masters in Community Health (Environmental Health/Occupational Health & Safety)
  • At least 7 years’ working experience in a related field will be an advantage or 5 years teaching experience concurrently
  • Good command of English, Malay and any other additional language is preferred
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Must display superior interpersonal skills with ability to communicate comfortably with students and parents in courteous and professional manner.

Lecturer – Environmental Health

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lesson plan for assigned subjects
  • Prepare teaching materials for assigned subjects
  • Conduct lectures as scheduled, evaluate and assess the performance of student from time to time
  • Provide guidance and mentorship and supervise students for final year projects
  • Participate in developing and revision of course curriculum
  • Perform duty as students affairs coordinator
  • Any other duties as directed by the Department Head

Requirement:-

  • Possess Masters in Community Health (Environmental Health/Occupational Health & Safety), Possess Professional Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years’ working experience in a related field will be an advantage or minimum 2 years teaching experience concurrently
  • Good command of English, Malay and any other additional language is preferred
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Must display superior interpersonal skills with ability to communicate comfortably with students and parents in courteous and professional manner

Business Development Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate marketing activities such as School Open Houses, Education Fairs, Workshop, etc. to conduct seminars and presentation.
  • Course Consultation with student and parents, by understanding theirs interest, recommending courses and campuses
    for student to study.
  • Follow ups with student/s enquires via phone calls, emails, walk in appointment.
  • To consult and assist student on visa related issues for overseas studies.
  • To work with education agents and conduct product training. Administer and follow up with student’s enrolment and ensure timely tuition fees payment.
  • To conduct product training to education agents and assist them for their student’s applications and enrolments.
  • Ensure proper management of enquiry database.
  • To feedback and generate ideas to improve student recruitments and achieve quarterly targets set by the management.

Requirement:-

  • Fresh Graduate or Bachelor Degree holders with 2-3 years working experiences (preferably in sales and marketing
    industry, especially in oversea student recruitments)
  • Good communication skills
  • Have personal transportation and able to travel within Malaysia
  • Comfortable with meeting enrolment targets
  • Multi-lingual in English and Chinese is an advantages

International Sales & Marketing Executive

Responsibilities

  • Manage enquiries, ensure all emails, calls and walk-ins are responded to promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Counsel and provide advice, guidance and information on admissions/enrollment requirements and related issues to prospective and existing students on courses offered by the University College.
  • Maintain consistent contact with students throughout the enrollment process.
  • Assist students with their application procedure, visa applications, pre departure briefing and accommodation.
  • Prepare and organize/host marketing events such as talks, education fairs, roadshows, workshops and other marketing or promotional events nationally and internationally.
  • Compile and constantly update a comprehensive database and contacts from all enquiries collected and maintain
    data of prospective students.

Requirements

  • Possess Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Mass Communications, Psychology or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in a related field will be an advantage.
  • Good command of English, Malay and any other additional language is preferred.
  • Basic IT knowledge or computing skills is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of immigration procedures and visa regulations and ability to evaluate international students’ transcripts and records will an added advantage.

Receptionist

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Provide good customer service when receiving visitors, handling and channeling telephone calls.
  • Direct phone inquiries to appropriate staff and provide accurate information for general inquiries
  • Manage reception function i.e. answering telephone calls, arranging of courier service, sorting/recording of incoming mails/courier
  • Ensure the front hall is in proper order
  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/”A” Level/Pre-U, in any field.
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Customer Service or fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
  • 1 year of working experience in a related field is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Good command of spoken English and BahasaMalaysia and any other additional language is preferred.

Customer service oriented, possess pleasant personality, presentable appearance and excellent telephone etiquette.
