Ellias Saidin graduated from the University of Tasmania in March 1980 with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. He obtained a Masters in Environmental Engineering from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2009. He was a Colombo Plan Scholar at University of Tasmania. He worked with various Consultant Engineering firms since 1980 and was a project engineer with the Housing Development Department Brunei in 1987. In 1991 Ir Ellias formed Perunding Ikatan, a consultant engineering firm and he is the principal of the firm.

Ir Ellias is a Fellow and currently a Vice President and Executive Committee member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia. He has been appointed as Head Commissioner, ASEAN Engineers for 2016-2017. He has served in the Council IEM in 2012-2015. He also sits on the Standing Committee for Professional Practice and Standing Committee for Corporate Affairs. He was chairman of Water Resource Technical Division at IEM. Ir Ellias has attended and presented papers at annual ASEAN Engineers Conferences; CAFEO25 (Cebu), CAFEO26 (Thailand), CAFEO 28 (Hanoi), CAFEO29 (Brunei), CAFEO30 (Phnom Penh), CAFEO32 (Yangon), CAFEO 33 (Penang).
Ir Ellias was also a Past President of ENSEARCH and was a member of the steering committee for the bi-annual Prime Ministers Hibiscus Awards in Environment. Ir Ellias sits on the Environmental Quality Council advising the minister on matters related to the EQA (1974) and the environment.

Carrying out extensive engineering works globally, he lived in and travelled frequently to various locations such as San Jose @ Silicon Valley, California, Austin, Texas, Suzhou, China, Hong Kong, etc. While working in the multi-national companies, he was a recipient of multiple Silicon Engineering Excellence Recognitions and Technical Excellence Award. At present, he is a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya. He assumes the positions of Head of Programme for M.Eng. (Mechatronics) and Head of VLSI and Image Processing (VIP) Research Group. He is a Chartered Engineer registered under the Engineering Council, U.K., and also a Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) registered under the Board of Engineers, Malaysia. He serves in a number of editorial boards, i.e. Journal of Nanoelectronics and Optoelectronics, ASEAN Engineering Journal, IEM Journal, etc. He was invited as a Plenary Speaker for the inaugural IEEE International Microwave, Electron Devices, Solid-state Circuit Symposium (IMESS) in 2016 and a Keynote Speaker for Engineering, Science & Technology International Conference 2018 (ESTIC2018). He was the Special Session Co-Chair for Asia Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association Annual Summit and Conference (APSIPA ASC) in 2017. In recognition of his vast engineering knowledge and skills, he has been appointed as Scientific Advisor and Technical Consultant to several companies, e.g. Genome Solutions, Iconix Consulting, TrafficSens, etc. He has been elected as a Committee Member as well as Communications Officer for IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Malaysia Chapter. In addition, he is currently the Honorary Treasurer of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Malaysia Local Network, a Council Member (ICT and Multimedia) of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and also a Committee Member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Ir. Dr. LEE YUN FOOK had recently obtained his Doctor of Engineering (Process Plant Management) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in April 2016 under the industrial PhD programme. Ir. Dr. Lee obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with 1st Class honour from UTM in 2003 and obtained his Master of Engineering (Civil-Environmental Management) in 2004. Since then he has been with Sepakat Setia Perunding Sdn Bhd, where started as a graduate engineer and he is currently an Engineering Director since 2015, leading the Waste and Environment Team in SSP.
Ir. Dr. Lee has been involved in several major centralized sewage treatment plants (CSTP) projects in Malaysia and overseas, including the following: 200MLD Yen So CSTP in Hanoi, Vietnam which is currently the largest CSTP in Vietnam, winner of the ACEM Gold Engineering Award 2015, 1.2 million ultimate PE Jelutong CSTP Winner of ACEM Silver Award in 2010, 350,000 PE Cheras Batu 11 CSTP, 350,000 PE Kajang 1&3 CSTP, 750,000 PE Bunus CSTP (currently under construction), etc. In addition, he has been involved in infrastructure/ environmental projects including sanitary landfills (such as Pulau Carey Landfill, Jeram Landfill, Kuala Langat Landfill, Ladang Tanah Merah Landfill and Sg Paku Landfill at Brunei); industrial landfill (Tioxide Secured Landfill); centralized sewerage reticulation projects (Kota Kinabalu, PJ South, Bayan Baru etc); hydraulic impact analysis for Sg Kelantan riverbank redevelopment and coastal engineering for Tumpat reclamation projects; major infrastructure works in mixed development projects (Yen So Redevelopment; 1500 acres Tanjung 12 Development, 257 acres Kota Kemuning Development, etc). Ir. Dr. Lee is also a registered Professional Engineer with BEM since 2009, SPAN Qualified Person, Certified Professional for Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), member of ACEM and MWA. Besides, Ir. Dr. Lee is a Corporate Member of IEM since 2009 and was recently elected as Council Member in 2017. He also serves as mentor for logbook system and Professional Interviewer for PE in IEM.
Dr Audrey Yong is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmacy, MAHSA University. She received her BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and MSc in Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis from University of Malaya, and PhD in Pharmacology from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Dr Audrey Yong is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmacy, MAHSA University. She received her BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and MSc in Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis from University of Malaya, and PhD in Pharmacology from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her doctoral research focused on the pre-clinical development of herbal medicine as a treatment for cancer. Her current research focuses on validating anti-psoriatic and anti-cancer activities of natural and semi-synthetic small compounds and their mechanisms of action. And has a special interest in chemical standardisation of medicinal herbs using liquid chromatographic technique. She has also served as a scientific officer in IMU bioequivalence laboratory in 2000 and as Waters® HPLC application chemist 2007. Dr Yong has several research publications and a patent.

He acts as a chief editorial board member, reviewer for various National and International peer-reviewed Journals. He served as a resource person for several National and International conferences, workshops and training programmes. His contributions in research filed is widely appreciated.

Currently working as Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Physician Innovator at MAHSA University Malaysia since 2018.He has around 100 international publications in a variety of referred journals & was awarded with more than 60 gold, silver, bronze medals along with best paper awards for his innovative work at international, national and university level such as IENA (Germany), SIIF (Korea), IARIA (Greece), RMCANA (USA) ICAN (Canada) ITEX, MTE, BIOMALAYSIA, PECIPTA, PEREKA (Malaysia) & PAK ORTHOCON (Pakistan). He is holding intellectual property rights of many innovative products and few products are planned for patent. His core expertise lies in the process of identifying and analysing unmet clinical needs for quick development of low-cost and high quality medical devices and easing medical teaching/ training through Biomedical innovations & enhancing its process by his CLICK & CLOCK Innovation Methodology.Since 2009, he has co-invented and developed more than 30 affordable medical devices addressing the unmet needs for the developing countries healthcare system & most of them are patentable & in the process of further development and commercialization. Some of his innovative prototype/lab products are OTOROB (Teleconsultation robot for orthopaedic surgeon), SPS (Scrubbing Protection Sensors), Gear Up CPR, IMCQ (Interactive MCQ), MIF (Modified Impact Factor), ANAS (Alpha Numeric Alpha Symbolic) Fracture Classification System, TCS (Traditional Classification System) with Colour Coding for fracture & TAWAF Chair (Technology Assisted Wheelchair for Ankle & Foot) during Hajj and Umrah. Different Medical APPS e.g. MAMA (Medical App for Medical Applications) to create a digital library for all medical Apps, LOCUM (To match the locum doctor & demanding clinic & Pre-Exam Warm UP, Pokémon Go MCQ & IMCQ for medical education have been designed under his leadership.From TPC member to invited international faculty leader, he is equally humble, dedicated & helping & down the earth friend both for juniors & seniors. He is instrumental in developing culture of innovation, mutual respect and honour for medical profession.
Prof. Ir. Dr. Hin-Yong Wong received his B.Eng. (first class Hons.) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom,. He was awarded the Tetley &Lupton Scholarship and received his M.Sc.(Eng)(WITH DISTINCTION) in Radio communication and High Frequency Engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. He was subsequently awarded the Overseas Research Students (ORS) Awards Scheme (U.K.) and University of Glasgow Postgraduate Research Scholarships to pursue his PhD and obtained his PhD from the School of Electrical & Electronics, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Prof. Wong joined the Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya, as a pioneer staff member as a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering since its inception in 1999. Since then he rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor and now a Professor and the Founding Director, Research Institute Digital Enterprise . He was the Dean of Faculty of Engineering for almost 8 years overseeing more than 120 staff and 15 engineering undergraduates and postgraduates programmes.. As of today he has published book chapter, review chapter, encyclopedia and 100 international research articles in renowned ISI and Scopus indexed journals and conferences based on his research findings. Thus far he has successfully secured a total national, international and industry research grant of over RM 9.4 millions for his research projects from various external funding sources He is a registered Chartered Engineer & Professional Engineer registered with Engineering Council United Kingdom & Board of Engineers Malaysia respectively.
Prof Wong’s contributions to academic and the engineering professional over the years have earned him recognitions nationally and international. To name a few, he received invitation by Malaysian Qualifications Agencies (MQA) to give a plenary talk at the Seminar on Internal-External Quality Assurance 2014 (SIEQA 2014) to representatives of IHls on good Quality Assurance(QA) practices, in May 2018 he was invited as an Invited Speaker to seal at the 1st Engineering Education Workshop of B&R(one Belt and One Road) - The Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) Training Centre, Xian, China to share Engineering Education Framework on Outcome Based Education ,he is elected to the grade of Fellow of IET(United Kingdom) , Fellow, ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), Fellow of The Institution Of Engineers Malaysia( IEM)IEM , recipient of The IET Malaysia Young Engineer Award, winner & honouree of the 2015 Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians(TOYM) Award by the Junior Chamber International, recipient of The National Outstanding Educator Award 2017 awarded by Private Education Co-operative Of Malaysia (EduCoop) in conjunction with the national Teachers Day Celebration.
