The Diploma in Information Technology gives students the essential entry-level computing skills. With an industry-based curriculum grounded in theories, principles and up-to-date practices in the information Technology field. Graduates of this diploma will be highly sought after by employers. The final year includes industrial training at IT specialists companies to further hone their skills.

Students can choose their preferred specialization to develop the necessary in-depth knowledge and expertise in some very interesting areas in Web Programming, Mobile Computing or even Artificial Intelligence.

Entry Requirement

  • SPM - Pass SPM or equivalent with three credits in any subjects including Mathematics

  • STPM - Pass STPM with Grade C (CGPA: 2.00) in any two subject
    Credit in Maths in SPM level

  • STAM - Pass STAM (maqbul)
    Credit in Maths in SPM level

  • 0-LEVEL - Pass O Level or equivalent with Grade C in any three subjects including Mathematics

  • UEC - For Senior middle three (SM3) only
    Pass UEC with Grade B in any three subjects including Mathematics

  • Certificate - A certificate Level 3 in related field with min CGPA: 2.00
    Notes : candidates who did not pass/credit Mathematics subject in SPM level can be accepted in SPM level can be accepted if the Certificate programme contain Mathematics subject which is equivalent to Mathematics subject in SPM

  • APEL - Age : 20 years & above
    Experience inrelated field

  • SKM - Pass SKM Level 3 in related field (Candidate without Maths can admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment to determine their competencies in Maths that are equivalent to SPM level

  • Others : Other equivalent qualification approved by the government of Malaysia
    Candidates with credit in computing related in computing related subject at SPM level may be given preferential consideration.
    Candidate can be admitted if their admission qualification contains Maths equivalent to Maths SPM level. those without pass Maths at SPM level can be admitted but required to take and pass reinforcement Maths subject.The Reinforcement subject must be offered in first semester or before enrollment with unconditional offer.
