The Diploma in Early Childhood Education programme at MAHSA University, prepares students who will be highly qualified early childhood professionals and practitioners, proficient in the field of early childhood education in line with the government’s aspiration of upgrading the early childhood profession. Graduates will have a strong foundation of educational philosophies and theory and will be competent in current pedagogical approaches and practical skills. They will have the ability to create a learning environment that facilitates learning and the total development of the child. By laying a strong foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of early childhood education, this programme equips students to become resourceful and reflective professionals.

Entry Requirement
OR
ii. A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of a Grade B in 3 subjects
OR
iii. A pass in O-Levels with a minimum of a Grade C in 3 subjects
OR
v. A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM), level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of a credit in 1 subject.
OR
vi. A pass in Level 3, MQF Certificate in a related field with a minimum of a Grade C with CGPA 2.00
vii. A pass in (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum of a Grade C with GPA 2.00 in any subject
OR
viii. A Higher Certificate in STAM with a minimum Grade Maqbul
OR
ix. Any other qualifications that are recognized by the University Senate or the Malaysian Government that can be benchmarked to a related field.
English Language Proficiency of International Students: Candidates should have at least an IELTS 5.0, TOEFL 500 and MUET Band 3 as an exit requirement.
