The Nursing profession is increasingly a demanding occupation, and we are faced with various illnesses and health outcomes. prospects for critical care nurses are very good. Critical Care Nursing course prepares graduates prepares graduates in the enhancement of knowledge and practice, especially in the promotion of quality care. Critical care nurses will be attached at hospital settings where critically ill patients are present, including intensive care units, cardiac care units, telemetry units, progressive care units, emergency departments, and recovery rooms. Nurses in this discipline to some extent need to have a strong personality and be able to disengage yourself emotionally.

Entry Requirement
Registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia.
Possess a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses.
Minimum two (2) years clinical working experience.
Possess two (2) months experience in haemodialysis.
The candidate must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one (1) week of commencement of programme.
The candidate with any of the following medical conditions cannot be admitted into the programme such as:
HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Mental health disorders, Epilepsy, Colour blindness.
The candidate must not have any physical disabilities or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity.
Pregnancy is not allowed throughout the course.
Career Opportunities
Increasingly there are career opportunities as Renal Nurses in Privately run Dialysis Centres and Hospitals locally and internationally. Graduates can also be employed into managerial positions of healthcare institutions. Graduates may also elect a career in research.
